Csendes, nyugodt természeti környezetben, szép óvodaudvarral körülvett épületben egy csoporttal működik.  A Jásdi Mesevár Óvoda 1976-tól látja el a gyermekek nevelésének feladatait, egy vegyes csoportban. Óvodánk gyönyörű természeti környezetben, a falu egy mellékutcájában helyezkedik el. Az óvoda családias, barátságos, nyugodt, érzelmi biztonságot nyújtó környezettel várja a gyermekeket.  Az intézmény kertje hatalmas, mely sokféle játék-, és mozgás lehetőséget ad a gyermekek számára. 2025-ben elnyertük a Madárbarát Óvoda címet és Óvodakerttel is rendelkezünk. Óvodánk fenntartója Jásd Község Önkormányzata. Intézményünk alaptevékenysége az óvodai nevelés ellátása, továbbá feladata a beilleszkedési, tanulási, magatartási nehézségekkel küzdő, valamint a kiemelkedően tehetséges gyermekek nevelése. Fogadjuk, és integrált formában neveljük a többi gyermekkel együtt nevelhető, sajátos nevelési igényű gyermeket, akinek óvodai nevelése a Szakértői Bizottság szakvéleménye alapján normál óvodai csoportban integráltan megvalósítható (beszédfogyatékos, akadályozott beszédfejlődésű, egyéb pszichés fejlődési zavarral küzdő, látássérült- gyengén látó gyermek).  Intézményünkben az Óvodai nevelés játékkal, mesével pedagógiai program alapján foglalkozunk a gyermekekkel. A tevékenységek során törekszünk a komplexitásra, arra, hogy a gyermek minél több érzékszervén keresztül szerezze meg ismereteit. A programunk megvalósításához az alapvető feltételek biztosítottak. Csoportszobánk tágas és világos, berendezése megfelelő, díszítése évszakokhoz, ünnepekhez illik. A gyermekekkel két óvodapedagógus, egy pedagógiai asszisztens és egy szakképzett dajka foglalkozik. Nagy hangsúlyt fektetünk a hagyományok ápolására. Minden évben megünnepeljük a vallási, nemzeti és évszakokhoz kapcsolódó ünnepeket, eseményeket.
